  • 22 July 2025, 7PM - Speaking event at the Middletown Township Historical Society (click link for YouTube recording of the presentation) discussing Sandy Hook during WWI and separating fact from fiction with regard to U-boat activity off the base.

  • 25 May 2025 (Rain Date on the 26th), 10AM-5PM - Book signing at the Flemington Summer Book Fest’s local author festival (Flemington, NJ).

  • 17 September 2024, 7PM - Virtual talk with the Monmouth Country Historical Association (Middletown, NJ) discussing the U-Boat activity off the New Jersey coastline in the summer of 1918, debunking myths and exploring local history through German and American archival evidence, survivor testimony, and period logs.

  • 8 September 2024 - Interview on the History of the Great War Podcast

  • 20 June 2024, 7PM - Lecture at the New Jersey Arms Collectors Club (Kenilworth, NJ) where the subject of U-boat armament, optics, and boarding party equipment will be discussed.

  • 20 April 2024, 2PM - Captain’s Corner at the USS Olympia (Philadelphia, PA) The “battle of the Delaware Bay” between SM U-117 and the US Navy will be discussed.

  • 25 November 2023 - Book signing at Barnes and Noble (Holmdel, NJ)

  • 10 November 2023 - New Jersey Maritime Museum (Beach Haven, NJ) Lecture about U-boat operations off the coast of NJ with an emphasis on the events off Long Beach Island and the Jersey Shore.

  • 9 November 2023 - Sayreville Historical Society (Sayreville, NJ) Author meet and greet and presentation about Reaping the Whirlwind.
